Nintendo Switch

I really want a Nintendo Switch. I’ve heard many good things about it. The new controller they’re bringing out is called a Joy-Con. You can detach and attach the Joy-Con to multiple parts of the system. It is a home gaming console and a portable gaming console. They haven’t announced much of the games, but most of them look pretty cool. The announced price now is about $299. They have also made a Super Bowl 51 commercial.

A Journey to the Center of the Earth

I’ve been thinking about what it would be like to go to the center of the Earth. Based on what I learned in science class, a journey to the center of the Earth would be scientifically impossible. This is because the center of the Earth is extremely hot. The temperatures are usually higher than 6,000°C. Another fact is, as you get to the center of the Earth, the pressure of gravity increases, and would crush a person like a tin can. You would either burn up or be crushed before you reached the center.

My Mizpah Shrine Circus Experience

Today, I had a great time watching the circus! I won’t tell about the whole show, but for the people who haven’t gone, I really suggest going! The animals were very well trained and they all jumped through the ring of fire safely. The clowns were also very funny with their acts. This one clown act had a clown with a balloon bow and arrow, which popped the balloon on the volunteer’s head. I really suggest everyone to go.

DS/3DS Family Club

The title may sound a little weird, but what I really mean is any system that is an original or updated DS or 3DS, such as a 3DS XL or a DSi (and 2DS). What I plan to do is use Local Play or Download Play with the members of the group. I will accept people without a system, but that will mean we will trade around and take turns. I will also try and make an opening for Streetpassing other people in the group. You can rent games from any of the Allen County Public Libraries, but make sure you check if the game supports Download Play or Local Play. I will try to the best of my ability to get the club going. Let me know if you have any other suggestions!

Wow 😳

I got probably the highest score ever in my 7th grade year! My SRI score is 1228! I made sure that I tried really hard and did my best on it. I even got to sign our class’s “100 Club” list! I’m super glad that I got this high on my test.

Pokémon Battle!

I was wondering if I should get a special group or club to play Pokémon with trainers or people who want to try the game for the first time. I have a Pikachu Libre and Suicune XY Trainer Kit for new trainers. I would also like to accept Local Play Pokémon Battles with any DS/3DS Pokémon games (must bring system and game). Another way to get a Pokémon video game is to rent it from the library for the club. Comment below for suggestions. If I get enough positive comments for this, I will suggest it to Mrs. Froning.

What is “Word Power”?

Words can be used in many different ways, including comforting, hurting, and communicating, which is why they’re so powerful.

Sometimes words can cause arguments, and can be sometimes devastating to relationships. Bullies use strong words to hurt others and make the bully feel better. The receiver feels horrible.

People also use words to communicate. People communicate with social media, text messages, and verbally. People communicate important events, how they’ve been, and with advertisements.

I think that word power really means the effect words can have. I feel that words are very important.

What is power?

Power is something that can sometimes help with everyday life. There’s many different kinds of power including:

  • Electrical
  • Wind
  • Solar
  • Water

Power is the ability to make changes. Power can also cause destruction in the form of natural and man made disasters. Power can also provide electricity with the Sun, water, and air or wind. Power also has to be made, it just doesn’t appear out of thin air. Power can be very strong, or very weak.
